University of Phoenix eliminates a 'handful' of Boise campus positions

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The University of Phoenix said Monday that it has eliminated a few jobs at its Boise campus.

Ryan Rauzon, spokesperson for the university, told KBOI-TV that the school let go a "handful" of student service personnel positions on campus.

He would not say specifically how many jobs were lost. Back in October, the school announced that it planned to eliminate 800 positions nationwide.

"The overwhelming majority of our students are going online," Rauzon said.

Several hundred students currently attend the Boise campus.
