United Express to offer non-stop service from Boise to Houston

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Treasure Valley travelers with ties to Texas have some good news.

The Boise Airport announced Tuesday that United Express will begin operating non-stop service to Houston, Texas beginning in August. The new flights will take off for the Lone Star state every morning at 7:30 a.m. and return at 5:45 p.m.

The service takes folks to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

"We're pleased to add Houston to the list of nonstop destinations United serves from Boise," said Aaron Pugh, regional sales manager for United. "The new Houston flights will provide travelers in the region direct access to Houston, as well as convenient connections to other destinations in Texas, the southern U.S. and Latin America."

The new service begins Aug. 20.
