Two men turn themselves in for Jeep break-in and credit card theft

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Two local men have turned themselves in to police after being caught on surveillance video using a stolen credit card that was stolen out of a Jeep last month, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office says the men, a 22-year old from Meridian and a 21-year-old from Boise, turned themselves in and confessed to the crime after seeing their images in the news and on social media.

Investigators say they have turned the evidence over to the Ada County Prosecutor's Office for charges.

The sheriff's office says the men face burglary and fraud charges.

Their names will be released once those charges are filed by the prosecutor's office.
