Two killed and two injured in single rollover crash

They say four men from Idaho were driving north in a Dodge pickup truck on Birch Creek Road, about 9.5 miles south of Oakley. While attempting to turn, the truck veered off the right side of the roadway and rolled. (File Photo).

The Idaho State Police say two people are dead and two others are injured after a rollover crash Saturday morning.

They say four men from Idaho were driving north in a Dodge pickup truck on Birch Creek Road, about 9.5 miles south of Oakley. While attempting to turn, the truck veered off the right side of the roadway and rolled.

William Paden Wells, 20, and Dakota Glenn Cantu, 25, were ejected from the truck and died at the scene.

Jared Anthony Taylor, 21, was also ejected. He was transported to Portneuf Regional Medical Center by air ambulance. The fourth occupant, Tyrell Jakob Smith, 21, was not ejected but was also flown to Portneuf.

None of the four occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

It is unknown who was driving the vehicle at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
