Two Idaho residents killed in I-90 crash
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Two Post Falls residents died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 in North Idaho.
The Idaho State Police says 39-year-old Benjamin Mullican was eastbound on I-90 Tuesday morning when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle on icy roads between Kingston and Cataldo. The SUV crossed through the median and into the westbound lanes, where it was struck by a semitrailer.
The collision killed Mullican and his 36-year-old wife, Korie. The two Canadian men in the semi were uninjured.
The collision closed the road for 6 hours while troopers cleared the road and investigated the cause of the crash.
