Toddler among two Boise residents killed in Idaho river crash
KOOSKIA, Idaho (KBOI) -- Idaho State Police has identified two Boise residents killed after a vehicle ended up submerged in a river in north central Idaho.
Idaho State Police says 29-year-old Boone Hallmark of Boise fell asleep while driving early Tuesday morning. The vehicle went off the road and ended up submerged in the Locsha River.
On Thursday, ISP identified the deceased as Talia Rushing, 22 and Layton Hallmark, 2 of Boise.
Emergency crews were able to get Hallmark out of the vehicle and transport him to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville.
Police have still been unable to retrieve the bodies in the vehicle due to rough water conditions.
