Stolen semi-automatic rifles recovered, BPD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Boise Police said Wednesday that officers have recovered six stolen semi-automatic rifles from a home in Columbia Village in southeast Boise.

Police say the theft occurred late in the evening April 21 or morning of April 22 in Columbia Village off Highway 21. The suspect most likely entered through a garage door that had accidentally been left open.

BPD said no arrests have been made and the investigation continues. Police did not say how detectives found the rifles.
