Stolen guns found in Kuna cave

KUNA, Idaho (KBOI) - Police are investigating how numerous stolen guns ended up in the Kuna Cave.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says someone was in the cave Monday morning and found seven guns in the cave. Deputies responded and found two handguns and five long guns.

They have determined the guns were the same weapons reported as stolen from a home on West Isabella Street overnight Wednesday.

Investigators say the homeowner reported approximately $12,000 worth of property, including the guns, as stolen sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. They continue to investigate to determine who is responsible for the burglary.

Anyone with information about the burglary on West Isabella or the guns found in the Kuna Cave this morning is asked to call Ada County Sheriff's dispatch at 377-6790.
