Sheriff: Middleton man dies in trench collapse at Nampa construction site
NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) —
A Middleton man was killed in a trench collapse on a construction site in Nampa over the weekend.
The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says 58-year-old Harold Foote was partially buried inside the trench on Franklin Road, north of Joplin Road, at 11:43 a.m. on Saturday.
Deputies say Foote was unconscious and in a cardiac arrest when first responders arrived. Once they got him out, they took him to St. Luke's in Boise.
He unfortunately died at the hospital from his injuries.
The incident is still being investigated.
