Sheriff: Man, 50, arrested after getting 16-year-old pregnant

WILDER, Idaho (KBOI) - A Mexican resident who police say has been living in Wilder has been booked on sexual battery of a minor, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office says.

According to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Wilder Police Department, Francisco Orozco-Perez began a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female in Mexico.

In March, police say, Orozco-Perez and the teen girl illegally entered the United States and continued their sexual relationship across several western states before moving into a house in Wilder, which belonged to a family member of the girl.

The relationship between Orozco-Perez and the 16-year-old victim also allegedly ended when he moved out.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the 16-year-old victim became pregnant with Orozco-Perez's child shortly after they illegally entered the United States and began living in Texas.

The teen later delivered a 20-week-old stillborn at a hospital in Nampa.

Orozco-Perez is currently wanted out of Texas on three separate warrants including one in 2001 for aggravated sexual assault of a child under sixteen.

Orozco-Perez was arraigned today in Canyon County and his bond was set at $1,000,000.
