Shed and motorcycle destroyed after early morning fire in Boise

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A shed was destroyed after an early morning fire on Friday in South Boise. Dispatchers said two neighbors called 911 saying they saw a fire close to their homes on Colt Drive and S. Latigo Drive. Whitney fire crews were the first to respond and spent about two hours on scene putting out the flames and investigating.

The homeowner told KBOI he uses the shed as a detached garage. He said a motorcycle, and all the tools he had in the shed were destroyed, along with a neighbor's camper and garden were damaged in the blaze.

The homeowner said there were a lot of aerial fireworks in the area Thursday night. He believes the fire may have been caused by aerial fireworks, and fire investigators said they are looking into that as a possible cause.
