Several busted for prostitution in Boise area, BPD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Boise Police says officers have busted several people for prostitution in the Boise area.

BPD says through an ongoing investigation, officers were called out to a parking lot on the 1800 block of Fairview Avenue at about 6 p.m. Tuesday over "illegal activity."

Officers say when they approached the vehicle, they could smell marijuana and later found a Cialis pill that didn't have a proper container or documentation.

After an investigation, Boise Police says the suspect, identified as Antonio Jones, 32, of Oakland, Calif., organized prostitution in Idaho and had received money from the illegal activities.

BPD says three people were charged with prostitution. Officers say the following suspects were staying at a hotel near the parking lot and were involved in the prostitution: Albert E. Garner, 31, Sacramento, Calif., Christie Norwood, 33, Los Angeles, Mariah Edwards, 20, Citrus Heights, Calif.

Jones was charged with three felonies and several misdemeanors while the remaining suspects received misdemeanor citations.
