Police seek help finding man suspected of stealing guns, ammo

BOISE, Idaho -- A man is suspected of stealing several guns, some clips and ammunition from a car in west Boise last month, and police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

Officials said a theft happened between midnight and 6:45 a.m. Friday morning on May 24 at an apartment complex off of N. Maple Grove Road and Susan Drive. Someone broke into a locked vehicle and stole several guns, magazines and ammunition, police said.

Video surveillance shows a man wearing a dark jacket pulled over his head walking into the complex the same time as the break in happened.

Police believe the man left the complex in a white colored, mid-90's Chevy S-10 Blazer or GMC S-15 Jimmy.
