Police: Man arrested after downtown Boise Wells Fargo robbed

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Police say they have arrested a man after a report of a robbery at the downtown Boise branch of Wells Fargo Bank Friday afternoon.

Police say the report came in around 1:30 p.m. that a man had robbed the bank at 9th and Main streets and was last seen running south.

Officers say there were no injuries and the man didn't appear to have a weapon.

Later in the afternoon, police said they had two people in custody for questioning in connection to the robbery.

Officers say they took the two men into custody near 16th and Grove streets shortly after the robbery occurred after a report of a disturbance.

Police say they found evidence on the men that suggested they were involved with the bank robbery.

Later Friday evening, police say they arrested Daniel Ogilvie, 40, and that he doesn't have a permanent address.
