Police investigate reported armed robbery in Boise

BOISE - Police are searching for a man who robbed a Boise convenience store on Wednesday night.

The robbery happened at the Jacksons store on the 4100 block of Nez Perce and Roosevelt.

Police said the man walked into the store wearing a white bandana and red hooded sweatshirt. Officers said the man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash before taking off on foot.

Officers are searching the area for the man. He was last seen heading southbound on Roosevelt. Police said he took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
