Police investigate bloody domestic dispute in Garden City

GARDEN CITY, Idaho (KBOI) - Police say a fight a Garden City couple was having turned bloody, sending a man to the hospital Monday night.

Garden City Police says Garrett Brownfield, 23, has been charged with felony attempted strangulation, domestic battery in the presence of children and probation.

GCPD says Brownfield battered his wife and then punched through a glass window at the home, located on the 400 block of East 46th Street.

"Crazy," said LaVella Williams, a neighbor. "There was blood all over the cars, the ground and all over the side of the trailer. It was pretty bad."

Neighbors say the couple had just moved into the area. "I was coming home and drove by there," Williams said. "They were yelling and screaming at each other. I could hear them fighting." Garden City Police says Brownfield was treated for his cut to his arm and then booked into the Ada County Jail.
