BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
A 13-year-old juvenile boy from Boise was taken to juvenile detention after he admitted to making a school threat.
Boise Police received a tip saying that a boy had made a vague school threat. Boise Police School Resource Officers contacted the boy and that's when he admitted to making the threats.
Police say they searched the boy's home for possible material to create an explosive device and did not find any evidence that the he was able to make one.
After further investigation Tuesday, officers learned that the suspect left something at a local elementary school. Students and staff at the school were asked to stay in the building while officers responded.
