Pedestrian taken to hospital after getting hit in crosswalk on Emerald
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after getting struck by a vehicle Monday morning.
Boise Police says a driver was heading east on Emerald at about 7 a.m. and turned north onto Curtis with a flashing yellow light. Boise PD says the vehicle and pedestrian collided in the crosswalk. It's not known whether the person was walking against the walk signal.
No citations have been issued, but the incident is still under investigation. The injuries were non-life threatening.
