Pedestrian hit and killed in Boise identified
BOISE (KBOI) —
The Boise Police Department is investigating a car hitting a pedestrian on Broadway Ave, near Richmond St.
Officers were called to the scene of the crash at 9:40 p.m. Sunday night. The car was reportedly heading northbound on Broadway when it collided with a man who was crossing the street. The man who was hit was transported by paramedics to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Monday afternoon, the Ada County Coroner's Office identified the man as Robert Olinger, 75, of Boise.
The coroner listed the cause of death as severe blunt force trauma caused by the crash.
