Idaho woman killed, three others injured in two vehicle crash

A woman has died and three others have been injured following a two vehicle crash in Caldwell Saturday.

The Idaho State Police says that 18-year-old Joselyn Valenzuela of Wilder was driving south with two juveniles on Notus Road shortly before 5 p.m.

Police say Valenzuela was attempting to turn east onto Simplot Boulevard. Her vehicle was struck after she failed to yield to driver traveling west in a Ford truck pulling a utility trailer.

Valenzuela died at the scene. The driver of the truck and the two juveniles were taken to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell. The passenger in the Ford truck was not taken to the hospital.

All occupants were wearing seat belts except for one juvenile passenger.

Police are investigating the incident.
