Nampa community to rally round teacher facing tough times
NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) —
Students and staff at Ridgevue High School in Nampa are hosting a benefit concert on Monday, March 12th.
It's to help support teacher Dan Armstrong and his family, who have been living in and out of the hospital this past year as their youngest son undergoes a series of open-heart surgeries.
The concert will take place in the RHS Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m.
It will feature music from the RHS choir, band and orchestra.
The cost to get in is $5.
There will also be raffle tickets for a wide variety of gift baskets and prizes, including a ride in a WWII airplane from the Warhawk Air Museum.
All proceeds will go to Mr. Armstrong and his family.
