N. Idaho police nab 2 drive-by shooting suspects

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities in north Idaho say they have arrested two suspects believed to have taken part in a drive-by shooting last month.

Coeur d'Alene police say 44-year-old Tyler Yonce and 24-year-old David Carter are being held in the Kootenai County Jail on felony charges of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports both men were arrested Thursday at their residences in Athol. Authorities say they also seized firearms and ammunition from Yonce's residence.

The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 22 at an apartment complex that also houses seniors and residents with disabilities. Nobody was hurt in the shooting and not a single bullet penetrated the interior of the apartments.
