MythBusters exhibition's explosive first day

The Discovery Center's newest exhibition MythBusters: Explosive Exhibition opened to a large crowd today

More than 400 people showed up to see the last of the MythBusters memorabilia and try out some of their many experiments.

"It's definitely an explosive exhibition because everyone is having fun," said Olivia Wargo with the Discovery Center.

The exhibition includes the Blueprint Room, which is based on the real-life operations room of the MythBusters’ set. It is is filled with gadgets, props, video and blueprints used by the hosts to explore myths on the show.

There is also the Workshop, where guests turn into investigators and use real science to test myths.

Brandon Thompson and his son try to go to every exhibit at the Discovery Center and say they really enjoy how hands on this one is for guests.

"You get to see all of the physics you read in books," said Thompson.

MythBusters: Explosive Exhibition is open to the public until January 21, 2018.
