Multiple events could cause traffic jam in North End

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The 34th annual Hyde Park Street Fair is expected to bring in over 30,000 people. With new Curb A'Fair happening at the same time it will likely cause major traffic jams.

The new music event is hoping to go back to the roots of the original street fair, but it will also close down the main intersection of 13th and Eastman.

North End Neighborhood Association Board Member Mark Baltes said that could cause some serious traffic issues in this small neighborhood.

"It's road blockage of 13th street at that prime time which I think is just going to be a source of frustration," said Baltes.

Baltes said he's happy to have another event in the neighborhood to help business.
