Motorcyclist hit by vehicle near Curtis, Overland dies from injuries

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A motorcyclist who was struck by a vehicle Monday has died from his injuries, Boise Police said.

The crash occurred at South Biggs Street Monday, which is near S. Curtis and Overland Road just before noon.

The motorcyclist, identified by the Ada County Coroner as Steven P. Moore, 32 of Boise, was traveling west on Overland. The driver of an SUV, a Boise woman also in her 30's, was traveling east on Overland and turning north onto Biggs. The vehicles collided in the intersection.

The man was not wearing a helmet, police say, at the time of the collision, although officers found a helmet strapped to the back of the motorcycle.

BPD is continuing to investigate.

The coroner says Moore died of blunt force trauma on Wednesday.
