Man stabbed in Boise dog park, officers say

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A 45-year-old Boise man is accused of stabbing a man in a park late Tuesday evening.

Boise Police says officers received a report of a battery that took place at a dog park on Roosevelt near Latah at about 9 p.m.

The victim, who reported the incident from a local hospital, told BPD that he went to the park to meet the suspect, William J. Roberts, who is well known to him.

The two men became involved in a confrontation, over an ongoing personal dispute and according to the victim, at one point Roberts stabbed the victim.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Roberts has been charged with aggravated battery.
