Man sentenced to 15 years for strangling his wife

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A Boise man charged with killing his wife in February 2013 has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Police say Bruce Macomb, 62, strangled his 58-year-old wife Beba in their home on Warren Street in Boise.

Macomb originally had been charged with First Degree Murder after the crime, but made a plea deal with prosecutors and agreed to plead guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter instead.

He will be eligible for parole after 10 years.
