Make-A-Wish, Discovery Center of Idaho grant little boy's wish

Today the Discovery Center of Idaho and Make-A-Wish Foundation made a wish come true for one little boy in the Treasure Valley.

8-year-old Max Jones is going to swim with sharks.

He's also going to be able to drink out of a pineapple, eat the world's best snow cones, and take a water jet pack through the ocean.

Everything on Max's wish list is coming true because the Make-A-Wish Foundation is sending him and his family to Hawaii.

Max's family found out he has acute lymphoblastic leukemia cancer about six months ago.

Since then, he's conquered dozens of chemotherapy treatments and week-long stays in the hospital.

"You can't wipe the smile off his face. It's like, man, I can't imagine having to go through the hard things that he's had to deal with and he just handles them," said Paul Jones, Max's dad.

In a lot of ways, Max is like any other 8-year-old, but with a lot more courage.

"He's tougher than any person I know. Not just kids but person and he deserves this [trip] so much," said Lindsey Jones, Max's mom.

For brave, little Max swimming with sharks is hardly even scary!
