'If they will invade...then I will bring my mom here'

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A local man is worried as he watches the crisis in Ukraine unfold. Serguy Moraru of Boise is worried for his mother and other family members are too close tot he unrest.

Moraru talks with his mother daily to get updates, and see how other relatives are doing. She actually lives in his birth country of Moldova which is actually closer to Crimea than the Ukraine capitol of Kiev.

Serhey said his cousin who live in Ukraine has also reported murders and other unrest related to hostilities between pro-Russian, and pro- Ukrainian factions in the country.

Even though Russia only invaded Crimea, many like Serhey worry the buildup of troops will lead to something worse.

"If they will invade then and the Russian troops will go far into Ukrain territory I will bring my mom here I will try to do that," said Moraru.

He claims the worst part of the crisis is watching things unfold while being so far away from loved ones.

"It's very hard to see my friends and some of my relatives struggling and trying to make sense of what is going on over there.
