It's been nearly two weeks since police in Idaho Falls received a report that a woman fell into the Snake River.

The woman's husband reported to dispatchers May 9 that the woman slipped on some driftwood and fell into the water on the south side of the Broadway Bridge near the Marriott Hotel.

On Monday, Idaho Falls Police identified the woman as 23-year-old Kayla Davis of Pocatello. She and her husband, identified by officers as Walker Thomas, had just recently moved to Idaho Falls.

Detectives have been looking for clues, witnesses who saw the couple along the river and whether any video surveillance video exists from area businesses.

"So far, nothing substantial has given them any clues," the city said in a statement.

Power crews are clearing the grates along the river daily, and also monitoring a live video feed for any evidence.

Kayla Davis is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, has blonde hair, green eyes and sometimes wears glasses.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 208-529-1200.
