Idaho Virtual Reality Bash shows VR is for work and play
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Virtual reality has long been known as a way for gamers to be immersed into a make-believe universe, but more recently people are also taking advantage of it's practical use.
Organizations from across the state showed off the innovative ways their using VR technology at the Idaho Virtual Reality Bash on Thursday.
From the medical field to road construction, VR allows professionals to train in their field before putting heir skills to the real test with much more at risk.
Idaho has become a leader in the nation for VR technology and the Idaho Virtual Reality Council is at the forefront of that.
The IVRC hosts a VR bash every year showcasing up-and-coming ideas in the VR realm being fostered right here in our state.
