Idaho man airlifted to hospital after three-vehicle crash

An Eagle man had to be airlifted to St. Alphonsus in Boise after a three-vehicle crash involving a motor home south of Banks.

The crash happened about noon on Idaho State Highway 55. at milepost 77.

The Idaho State Police say the driver of a Coach motor home stopped in the lane of travel with a turn signal on, waiting to turn into a pullout.

Michael Moser, 62, of Eagle, was driving a Ford pickup truck and was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban. This caused Moser's pickup to be pushed into the motor home.

Moser was transported to the hospital by air ambulance.

The lanes were partially blocked for two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
