Idaho man, 69, killed in weather related crash in Oregon

STANFIELD, Ore. (AP) Oregon State Police have released the names of the two men involved in another fatal crash on Interstate 84 in Oregon on Sunday morning.

A 69-year-old man from Post Falls, Idaho, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single vehicle crash east of Stanfield.

Police say 26-year-old Timothy Hancock was driving a pickup near milepost 192 when he lost control of the vehicle on an icy section of Interstate-84. The pickup rolled over in the center median before coming to rest upside down.

The pickup's passenger, 69-year-old Freeman Glenn Thomason, was killed. Hancock was taken by ambulance to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston with non-life threatening injuries.
