Idaho Interfaith March for Peace and Justice
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
The Interfaith March for Peace and Justice took over the Statehouse grounds Sunday.
This is a coast to coast event that happened at various cities at the same time. There were march for peace events in eleven cities across the country.
The march is a non-partisan event meant to show support for freedom of religion and condemns discrimination.
"Many of our friends here in the United States, especially people that are Jewish and Muslims here in this country have had a lot of discrimination and some of it violent discrimination and so we just want to stand with them and be together for this kind of a thing to promote peace and justice in our world," said march organizer Nick Armstrong.
