Help dreams come true! Donate unused frequent flier miles
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Make-A-Wish Foundation works year-round making dreams come true for Idaho children.
The non-profit grants about 90 wishes a year to Idaho children. Last year, the organization granted its 1,000th wish. But, with all those wishes, come costs - about 70 percent of the wishes involve travel.
To help the dreams of children with life threatening illnesses come true, KBOI-TV and Make-A-Wish Idaho are teaming up to help raise airline miles for the foundation.
"To have airlines miles available to us to use to send their families to go on the wish experience it really helps...," said Torene Bonner, Make-A-Wish CEO.
KBOI-TV will host a Wishes in Flight telethon Tuesday to raise airlines for the foundation. | Read Garrett's Wish
