Habitat for Humanity starts on two new homes in Garden City
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Two homes framed in about three hours.
That's what Habitat for Humanity and volunteers from the Cathedral of the Rockies pulled off today.
When these homes are finished, they'll be put up in a development in Garden City at 46th and Adams streets.
Each year, Habitat for Humanity has about 600 volunteers that donate ten-thousand hours of labor to help build these homes. When these two homes are done, the organization will have built 71 homes for people in need right here in Ada County.
