This Independence Day hundreds of people will flood to a new spot for the annual Boise celebration.

This year's show is at Expo Idaho.

Usually the show is held at Ann Morrison Park, but flood damage forced city officials to move the show.

That means a few changes.

Unlike at Ann Morrison Park, no tailgating is allowed at Expo Idaho.

You can bring coolers inside but no outside alcohol. Once you're inside, you'll be able to buy food and alcohol from vendors.

Pets will also have to be left at home.

You won't be able to bring backpacks into the venue and any handbags will be searched.

Once you leave, you won't be able to get back in.

Gates open at 6 p.m. The event is free to the public, including parking.

The fireworks display kicks off at dusk around 10:15 p.m.
