Glenns Ferry council seat to be decided by coin flip
GLENNS FERRY, Idaho (KBOI) - A coin could decide one Elmore County race.
The top two candidates with the most votes would win seats on the Glenns Ferry City Council.
Larry Stevenson easily won the first seat with 176 votes. The other seat, however, is where it gets tricky because of a tie. Both Robert Janousek and Joyce Ashton received 130 votes each.
Elmore County tells KBOI 2News that a coin toss will determine the winner. County election officials say they are will talk with the Secretary of State's office before holding the toss.
