Flight diverted to Boise after report of smoke in the cockpit

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A flight from Phoenix to Spokane was diverted to Boise after a report of smoke in the cockpit.

A spokesman for the Boise Airport says that Southwest Flight 1166 landed in Boise just before 5:30 p.m. Monday evening.

According to the website FlightAware, the plane was between Boise and Spokane when it turned around and flew back to the Boise Airport.

The airport says ground crews inspected the plane after it landed and it appears to be OK.

No injuries were reported.
