Boise Police are investigating a deadly single vehicle accident at the intersection of West Ustick Road and Five-Mile Road.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m on Sunday.

The Ada County Coroner's Office says Jeana Judeth Walker, 48, of Boise was killed in the crash.

Preliminary evidence shows Walker was traveling north on Five Mile in the southbound lane.

She crossed Ustick Road, crashing into a traffic light pole and a block retaining wall on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Walker suffered major injuries and died on scene. There were no other occupants in the car.

Boise Police Lieutenant Charles LeBar says "the crash is still under investigation. We do not know what caused the crash, our reconstruction team is out here as well as detectives to determine what exactly occurred."

The intersection is cleared but the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking any witnesses who didn't stick around to call Boise Police at 377-6790 for a statement to help this investigation.
