A dog has gone missing after its owner crashed along Highway 55 late last week.

Nicole Stoker Cantrill says her mother was driving along the highway when her vehicle rolled two times.

"The fact that she is essentially walking away is a miracle," Cantrill said on social media.

Her mother's dog, Ziva, was in the vehicle at the time of the Friday crash and took off -- heading toward Horeshoe Bend. It's unknown if the pooch is hurt.

"She is a sweet girl but is probably scared," Cantrill said.

The dog is still missing as of Monday morning, Cantrill told KBOI 2News. She was last seen near the Mix Master rapid on the Payette River.

It's believed Ziva has been hunkering down during the heat of the day as she's been spotted during the morning and evenings.

Cantrill's post has been shared more than 1,000 times.
