Davis Cup could bring millions of dollars to Boise

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Boise Chamber of Commerce is expecting tourist visiting for the Davis Cup next week to spend $3 to $4 million around Boise.

The U.S Tennis Team is taking on Serbia and for some it will be their first trip to the US. Local businesses see this as an opportunity to not only have a good event but to show everything Boise has to offer.

30-40 percent of all ticket sales so far have come from people out of state which means they will have to stay in hotels. Tourism is the third largest industry in Idaho. Crews and equipment will start coming into town to begin setting up on Friday.
