City of Eagle hosting household hazardous waste drop off today

EAGLE, Idaho (KBOI) - Almost all of us are guilty of it, hoarding our old electronics or keeping old cleaning supplies. But just throwing those products away can be harmful to the environment.

That's why the city of Eagle is stepping in.

Today (Wednesday) the city of Eagle is collecting all kinds of household hazardous waste between 1 p.m and 7 p.m at the south end of the Eagle library parking lot.

They will be accepting Items like: cleaning supplies, used motor oil, old electronics and pesticides.

If you can't make it today, the city of Eagle hosts these collections days throughout the year, the next one will be in July.
