Burley man found under car with fatal gunshot wounds
BOISE, Idaho (KMVT) —
A Burley transmission shop owner was found dead underneath a car yesterday in Burley.
Authorities say Christopher Fassett died from two gunshot wounds, one in the face and stomach.
Miguel Alamillo called 9-1-1 after discovering Fassett under the car and believed he had passed-out from gas fumes from a nearby propane heater. Once Alamillo noticed there was blood on the ground he said went into emergency protocol.
Lewis Gabriel Ponce, 21, was arrested on homicide charges after turning himself in during an interview with the sheriff's office authorities say.
