Boise River goes over its bank near Highway 16, floods farm fields

The Boise River has overflowed its bank near Highway 16 in Ada County, according to county officials.

The water is flooding nearby farm fields, but is not affecting the roadways or threatening any homes in the area at this time.

On Wednesday, Gov. Butch Otter, along with local, city, state and federal officials will be having a news conference to discuss the on-going flood threat.
