Police: Man arrested after starting fire outside establishment

Boise Police say they responded to a call Wednesday morning at 1:57 a.m. about a possible arson at an establishment on the 1600 block of North 31st street.
According to police a group of customers were upset that the establishment was closing and went outside. Witnesses noticed that there was a small fire burning the bushes around the porch area and they were able to extinguish the flames says the police department.
The fire caused damage to bushes, a wooden patio post, and burnt some decorative lighting hanging from the patio.
Officers said they made contact with Chase Christensen , 21, of Boise and after further investigation he became a suspect in causing the fire. He was taken into custody and transported to Ada County Jail where he was booked under the charge of arson.
