Boise man busted with 12 pounds of pot in vehicle, troopers say

BEND, Ore., (KBOI) -- Oregon State Police says a Boise man has been busted for allegedly possessing about 12 pounds of pot in his vehicle.

OSP says a trooper stopped the driver of a Hyundai Accent on Highway 20 for speeding Monday afternoon east of Bend. Troopers say Bradley Dewey Dean, 62, was concealing nearly 12 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle. The pot's worth about $30,000.

Dean has been booked into the Deschutes County Jail for unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
