Neighborhood concerns led to the arrest of a Boise man Thursday.

Police say they arrested Jonathan Vida, 35, in the area of Grace Street and N. 32nd Street for two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Unit began investigating the home at the beginning of this year.

Meridian and Boise Police investigated the residence for two months before forwarding reports to the Ada County Prosecutor's Office.

Police say during the search of the home they found several controlled substances including heroin, meth, illicit prescription pills, and marijuana, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia items after a warrant was obtained.

According to police, charges against another resident are being forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.
