Body found in Payette County home after 911 call

PAYETTE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Police have released the identify of a woman found murdered in Payette.

On Thursday, Payette County says 45-year-old Elizabeth Ann Baune was found dead in a home located at 1619 Baker Lane in Payette.

Payette County Sheriff's office says deputies responded to a 911 call Wednesday night after Baune's cousin discovered the body and called police.

On Thursday morning, police say, a search warrant was issued for the home. Upon investigating, they found Baune dead in the residence and determined the death to be suspicious and is being investigated as a homicide.

Officials say they're looking Baune's vehicle - a turquoise 2002 Honda Passport with Idaho license plates 1P73311. The sheriff's office says they believe Baune's roommate is considered to be a suspect and may be driving the vehicle.

Anyone who spots the Passport is asked to call 642-6006.
