Several apartment units were damaged Tuesday from an apartment fire.

The fire, reported off Fairview Avenue near the Connector at the Central Point apartments, has been extinguished by firefighters. A photo from KBOI 2News shows at least four units that suffered serious damage, possibly five.

The Boise Fire Department says 30 firefighters responded after the call came in at 2 p.m.

They say one person living there was injured and all the other escaped unharmed.

The man who was transported jumped out of one of the second story units. He suffered burns and possibly a broken leg.

It is unclear where or how the fire started. The investigation is ongoing.

Boise Fire says they are trying to figure out how many people live in the affected apartments.

The Boise Firefighter Burnout Fund and Red Cross are working together to help anyone who has been displaced.
